Remember how cool the first Batman movie was? Sure, it was Michael Keaton, but still...it was among the first really awesome "comic-to-movie" movies. I remember standing in a long line with other geeks to see it on opening day. The air was charged with electricity as people from a local comic book shop, dressed as Batman, showered Batman souvenirs upon us from the top of the building! Well, since then, the Batman franchise has slowly diminished into some pretty horrible movies. But, the Dark Knight's credibility will rise from the ashes! Warner Brothers has promised us an all new Batman film, Batman Begins! It stars Christian Bale as the 4th incarnation of Bruce Wayne. Michael Caine will be Alfred, the Butler and Ken Watanabe will be Ra's Al Ghul. How awesome is that? Morgan Freeman, Rutger Hauer, Liam Neeson and Gary Oldman and a bunch of people I've never heard of are also in it. Check out the official website. Here are a few images:
