Do you like to gamble? We do. Since sports betting and casino gambling is illegal in most states, we decided to come up with our own betting pool - a death pool!

The rules are simple. Everyone pitches in $10 and writes down 10 names of famous/infamous people that they think will die in the next year. The person with the most right at the end of the year wins the pot. The pot is equally divided on all ties.

Here was my list:
*Bob Hope - comedian
*Strom Thurmond - the oldest US Senator ever
*Buddy Ebsen - Jed Clampet!
Yogi Berra - baseball legend
Jerry Lewis - probably won't make it through another telethon
Richard Pryor - comedian from the 70's and 80's
Pope John Paul II - he's the freakin' pope!
Ronald Reagan - former President
LadyBird Johnson - former first lady
Joey Bishop - from the rat pack
